Four players announces the rebellion against Barcelona

The Spanish newspaper Marca said that four Barcelona players are rebelling against the Catalan club’s plan and categorically reject what the sports administration intends to do with them.

Last Tuesday, Jorge Mendes arrived in Barcelona. He had a busy couple of days with several Barcelona players representing one of them being Ansu Fati who was all the main focus on on that visit.

Rumors about Ansu Fati’s departure from Barcelona are prevalent today. There is talk of offers of 80 million euros. But it seems that this will not happen.

In Jorge Mendes’ meeting with the player and his father, Ansu made it very clear: he did not want to leave. The forward told them that his idea was still to succeed at Barcelona and that he did not want to leave.

Jorge Mendes has been stirring the market looking for clubs that might be interested in signing Fati, while the dad has made some very strong statements stating that if it were up to him, he would leave Barcelona. But the player does not want to leave, at least not yet.

That was the sure message he sent to those around him. And so Jorge Mendes passed it on to Juan Laporta in the meeting they had last Wednesday afternoon.

Barcelona need to sell players to balance the financial fair play. And Ansu Fati was among those who could go out and bring in good money but he didn’t want to leave.

Ansu Fati is not the only one who rebels and refuses to leave, because the sports administration is investigating potential sales of players and finds that everyone wants to continue. Eric Garcia, Kessie and Ferran Torres refuse to leave Barcelona. They all want to continue.

This creates a problem in balancing accounts and the ability to sign new players. Mathieu Alemani is in a hurry to close some of these deals, but he finds himself with the difficulty that no one will suddenly agree to leave, something that is known historically in this club.

Another player who does not want to leave is Jordi Alba. His salary is too high and the sports administration would like to get rid of him. Mateu Alemany is clear about it, but the full-back is not thinking of leaving.

It will be necessary to find out if he will accept a salary reduction. At the moment, there have been no communications in this regard, but it should start soon.
